. . . do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7)
Has God placed a desire in your heart to know Him more fully? Do you know deep down that you are not fully living the call that He has placed on your heart? You are not alone. Women from across Canada are coming together to be equipped, trained and mentored in a unique and powerful way through an opportunity called the School of Women in Ministry.
The School of Women in Ministry begins October 5, 2019. Our main campus will be in Edmonton with a simulcast satellite site offered in Langley, BC. If you can gather a group of at least ten students, we are willing to consider other locations as well.

Dr E Stanley Jones, a famous missionary and evangelist, ….once said, ‘Apart from Jesus we know little about God and what we do know is mostly wrong.’ In other words, if we just do not see Him. We may of course, have a vague idea in our imagination of what He is like but that is only our idea of God – it is not what He is really like. The Word was made known in Old Testament days through words – a verbal revelation – but when the Word became flesh then the revelation was no longer verbal but vital. Jesus made God known in the only way He could be made known – by life. (Selwyn Hughes)
Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 125 Year Anniversary Celebration
A note of appreciation for all who so generously participated in our 125th anniversary celebrations on 25th of November. I was very touched by the presence of the Mount Pleasant family; past and present. This certainly gives encouragement for the future. So many of you gave of your love and labor.
The thought that occurred to me more than once as I was listening to the testimonies, was that if God touched the hearts and brought salvation and vitality, to the people before, he can do it again and again and again.
